And its Good Night from me...

Hi All, this will be the last time for a while, as after 27,700 page views across 10 countries over the last 18 months I am having to give up the blog, at least for the time being…

Let me explain, I have been injured since April, despite an operation I am not much further forward and suspect I will need another op before I am back running. I live many miles from the club, and not being at club nights, training or races I am very detached from what is going on.

I am also under huge time pressure with my work and added to a couple of other issues it is now impossible to prepare and up to date and interesting blog, for these reasons I have decided to stand down until I am back running, I hope you all understand.

I have really enjoyed preparing out club blog and am proud of how much it has been used, I hope you have found something that has tickled your fancy, made you smile or given you reason to smile and enjoy.
You run for probably the best running club around, with the best people and a great atmosphere, that will continue, enjoy it.

I hope someone will be picking up the baton and carrying the blog forward, and when back running I will be providing input again. If you fancy taking it on just contact one of the committee. So what is going on?

Guy and Ian today did a little matter of 32 miles in the RAT. Guy says it was one of the toughest races he has done. His time was 7hrs and 5 mins up and down many hills. Iain posted this...
For those not in the know Bungy Williams and I ran the 32 mile costal ultra marathon the Roseland August Trail race by St Austell yesterday. This is one brute of a race that really punishes you but is spectacular at the same time. Slick organisation and a well marked course made for a stress free race. The best part was the race village. Full camping facilities with food, a bar and bands would make for a great weekend for a club outing. Other distances of 64, 20 & 11 are available too. Well worth a visit.
