Club Championships
At a recent Committee meeting it was decided to change the Rules once again (Rules). Sorry, this will be the final amendment this year (unless any unforeseen changes/cancellation of race dates occur). It was decided to take out the Slam Crown Awards (still keeping the Slam Hats of course). However, we have re-instated the 'Silver Shoe' Nominated Distance Awards. The 2014 nominated races are: Best timed Yeovilton 5k series, Martock 10k, Lytchett Manor 10 mile, Yeovil Half Marathon and North Dorset Villages Marathon. The first of these is the Lytchett Manor 10 mile on Sunday 16th February at 10.30 am.

Also on the Home Page of the website there are links to the Club Championship Table as at 4th January. It is very encouraging to see that there are several members taking part in races this year. So if you have yet to run a race there are lots of to choose from in the calendar (link from YTRRC Home Page) and within the Club Championships. There is no need to be daunted by races; they are all very friendly and socialable events with all abilities running.
