Bournemouth Marathon
Today saw 5 YTRRC runners take part in the Bournemouth Marathon, and although some bloke from Kenya may have won the race there was really only one winner. Helen Nesbitt had a great race and managed 3:41 so got her Good For Age. She was on for a sub 3 but the wind pushed her back a bit. Helen was also the first Green and White over the line.
Full results can be seen here.

401
As I mentioned last week Ben Smith ran the Yeovil Marathon Route on Friday and some of the Club ran some of it with Ben. They all had a good run and Ben made them all feel welcome and from all of Yeovil Town Road Running Club we wish him well for the rest of the Challenge. You can see his progress at his website. I also saw Ben twice at Bournemouth today and he was running well and said hello as we passed.
Daphne Barfoot:
I am by no means a fast or even confident runner but at no time was I made to feel I was holding him and the others up, in fact Ben told me off more than once for saying sorry when I needed a walk!!
London Marathon
Last week saw the Magazines dropping through the letterbox or an email. It was either a happy runner or a Spiderman. Those that have had the sad news need to read the Clubs policy on the Club Ballot on the website.
