The Yarcombe Yomp
Matt and Richard were at the Yarcomb Yomp today and Matt got a great 5th place, Nice one Matt and Richard got a 2nd vet 55.
Matt tells a great story of the race... 'Alex Todd, This is the guy who lost his trainer at the first gate at 400m, not to be fazed he continued on... On the 2nd lap he borrowed a trainer from a Marshall... and won the race. It makes mere mortals like me give up and try knitting..
I don't know Matt, 5th place is brilliant as far as I am concerned, even if it was the 1st position without a prize!!!
