"I am running the London Marathon on 21st April and North Dorset Marathon on 5th May and, foolishly, I am even thinking of doing an Ultra Marathon in September.

I would like to invite you to a Coffee Morning at 12 Brimsmore, BA21 3NX on Fri 5th or Sat 6th April 10am-2pm to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice. A good friend of mine has recently died of cancer and St Margaret's gave her and her family lots of support during her last weeks.

I had this information in from Pete

It seems the council are going ahead with the build of a new hockey pitch on the rec, the attachments show the layout etc.

At the moment I don't believe it will affect the running club as we can if we want run around the outside of the rec as before.

For those that do the track session on Friday you will have noticed the two small football pitches on the field side of the track, this is used on a Sunday morning.

I can e mail the plans to anyone who wants them
