On the Great Western, on top of the great job Lesley did, Pete sent in the following..

Thanks to Claire, Jane, Kat and Mel for helping to de-rig the Gt Western course this afternoon, appreciate the weather and conditions were deteriorating by the minute and you could have been enjoying a Mothers Day Lunch. Next year we'll ensure the Marshals help by bringing the markers etc back and not leaving them out on the course. Have a drink you deserve it, thanks again.

At Christchurch on Sunday there was the Mad March 10 and 20 milers, in the 10 Linda and Melanie had a super race, and now it transpires that Melanie had broken Bones in her foot.. Running through the pain barrier...

Fiona and Sally had good runs in the 20, North Dorset getting close!

Melanie and Linda were in the top 100 in the 10, Fiona, Lynne, Sally and Katherine followed each other in in the 20 with David close behind. Great stuff all...

There is no Swanage Half this year due to the usual stuff health and safety and local issues, very sad as this race has a long history and is one of our favourite events. Lets hope if will be back next year with all the problems sorted. The web site gives the full details

You know I am involved in 5 races down this way and we are having to change 3 of them this year even though they have run for years with no problems, what a pain!
