Bristol Half and Club Events Coming Up

Evening All

This is to remind you that the Club's next race is the first of the Summer 5k Series this Wednesday 10th April at 7.15 p.m. at Yeovilton - 5km series. See last post for help needed!

Annie has sent this out to those who have entered our races

We are also pleased to present the 3rd Ash Town Tree Trail - Thursday 16th May at 7.00 p.m. starting at Ash Primary School (Ash, Near Martock, Somerset TA12 6NS)

The route is of approximately 7 miles along country lanes, across fields and through the beautiful Town Tree Nature Garden, returning to finish at Ash School.

There are toilets and changing facilities at the school but no showers.

There will be a barbeque, cakes and refreshments.
Proceeds are to be divided between the Town Tree Nature Garden and Ash School.

There is further information and an entry form can be found on our website Ash ttt or here or you can use the entry form attached.

Please note that, for pre-entries, race numbers will not be sent to you but should be collected at the race headquarters at Ash School on the evening of the race.

For more details about these and other races please go to our website: Club Site

Bristol Half

A reminder from a previous post.. This is from Anita

The Club are block booking places for the Bristol Half Marathon in September. As not all members have access to Facebook this is what has happened so far. We are hoping to get 20 + taking part which will enable all of us to get the best discount and have a great turn out for the green and whites. James Day is collecting the names and e-mail address too.

Last month we expressed an interest in the race, its on Sunday 15th September 2013 - it will be a YTRRC Club Organised Entry

Names of people who where initially interested:

Anita Farquhar Rufus
Karen Edwards
... James Day
Kimberley Anne Weston
Andrew Brown
Jon Slack
Melanie Ditch
Kate Ronaldson
Rob Jones
Barbara Williams-Yesson
James Stott
Kelly Dolly Meadwell
Emily Fort
Sally Walford
Linda Membury

The club will have to pay up front, so once you commit you HAVE to pay the entry fee, which is discounted by 20% if we get the numbers. (I believe the entry is £35, less £7 if we get full discount, so £28, Anita will confirm these costs)

Please let James know if you are interested, jamesday22@btinternet.com is his internet address.

See Bristol Half for more information

Cheers all

More soon

Terry
