Marathon No. 127 for Paul, a a super run from Fiona in the half

From Richard

Nice one Richard, an amazing time..

Ran the Taunton Marathon today in 3:13:40 which gives me either 25th, 26th or 27th depending on the person they have down as 1st really finishing in 1:49:02! (My guess is he only did 1 lap of a 2 lap race), and then taking either the gun or chip time position.

Was 2nd in the M55 category, beaten by 26 seconds. Was a good day for running temperature wise though a bit breezy. 1st lap like a big city marathon with over a thousand half marathon runners (including Rose Harvey who went past me) then the 2nd lap is more like a small marathon with no one to run with though pleased that on the 2nd lap passed at least 10 runners & no one passed me at all.  The time compares well with London last year when I was 8 seconds slower.

Richard Boulter

Simon and Richard ran the very tough Exe to Axe in 4hr 30m and 4h 25m today, great effort in what I am told is a very tough race..
