The Martock Marvels
Thanks
to Andy Brown for sending in the Martock results
Well
done to Yeovil Ladies for bringing home the team prize, top team as always,
well done to everyone who took part.
Sad to see Pete walking
back with an injury! Hope it’s nothing to serious Pete

Just days to Tintin10k at Tintinhull, fun local multi terrain 10k. Please come and support the race in the village. Kids 2K race at 6:30pm, 10K at 7pm. Wednesday 19th June. See previous posts for entry details.
Not a lot going on, normal club, pub, track, Saturday, Sunday runs, not a lot, that’s a laugh. Preparations starting for Autumn marathons, some of us with thoughts for 2014…
Jill was at the Veterans Championships in Exeter today, details to follow..
Me and Matt planning some stupid bike thing, 73 miles, ha ha ha ha, if I did not laugh I’d cry, your fault Matt… Just because I cannot run.. Depends on date for my knee op, had the xrays, had the consultation, had the MRI (7 of them, took ages) now just the drilling and trimming, glad I am going to be out of it, someone drilling into my knee and sticking a camara and laser in there, I want to be asleep!!

If any of you fancy it, the next H5 hash is on Sunday 30th June - 11am, FLEUR DE LIS, STOKE SUB HAMDON
If any of you fancy it, the next H5 hash is on Sunday 30th June - 11am, FLEUR DE LIS, STOKE SUB HAMDON
Please let me know if you are coming by e-mail or text so I
can forewarn the Pub of numbers.
The last hash only had Kevin and Andy coming in from
Henstridge and Stalbridge, so the furthest flung (and heavens know we tried to
fling them quite a long way!) and Kerry and Julie that lived next door to the
pub from the Yeovil Club - it would be good to have a large group charging
round Ham Hill like in the good old days!
We have hashes scheduled for 14th July (Lord Nelson,
Norton - hares needed) and 25th August (Jon Crane's Stag night hash - Fleur de
Lys, Mudford Road), as well as the 10th Anniversary Hash - but after that I can
see the hash dying a death unless there's a bit more interest, so please let me know if you're
still interested (I'll take you off this mailing list if you're not!)
I'm also looking for indication of interest if I were to lay
a family (and buggy) friendly Sunday morning walking hash in Ninesprings with
barbeque after some time in July - you up for that?
Already had most of the updates earlier in the week, so I get away with a short one, good job as major workload at the moment.
Enjoy your running, stay injury free, set your goals, push yourself and go out and enjoy
See you all soon I hope
Terry
