IMPORTANT CHAMPIONSHIP INFO and other bits

Important Changes to the Club championship

At the Committee Meeting on Wednesday 5th June 2013 it was agreed to change how the finishers  for the points are found for the Club Championship races.  This was due to Race Organisers not always entering Members under Yeovil Town RRC as their Club and the unacceptable amount of time that trawling through the Race Results was taking Sally & Paul Walford  to generate this information, to then be informed that it was incorrect.

To commence immediately starting with the Martock 10km Race and continuing for all of the Club Championship Races:

Please email Sally sallyatsouthcary@aol.com either in advance informing her of which Race you are taking part in during the week before or email her within  5 days of completing the Race to let her know that you have competed in the Race.  If you have your Time & position or a copy of the results/email link that would really help.  If you do not notify Sally she will not look for you in the results and you will not be awarded points.

If you have any problems or questions, please contact either Sally or myself. debstanfield007@aol.com

From Anita and James

The Bristol Half Marathon CODE has been e-mailed to each of the participants.

The instructions are all included with the code and it is now be the responsibility of the individual runner to go to the Bristol website and enter their own details.

Bungay is booking a coach for the event and we will be e-mailing the runners with the details shortly.

Many thanks,
Anita

And well done to Anita on completing  the Dartmoor Discovery Ultra, she said 'I finished after the cut off time (missing the marathon point by 15 mins) my name wasn't added to the finishers list :(
It took me 7h 10m 38s, but I still got my medal and T-shirt :) not to mention a blister or two ;)'

Fantastic achievement Anita, well done!

Martock 10k this Sunday 10am £100 for breaking the course record!! I haven't got a chance but I'm sure there are some fast ladies out there that can go under 40 min?    See this link

5km Results are on the web site, well done all
