Oh NO!! He's Back

Hello All, well I'm back, I have kicked James out because he needs to concentrate on the Park Runs, fought off all borders, and the blogger man is back... Thanks for standing in James, great job..

The blog is going to change a bit, instead of one large blog on a Sunday, I will add bits as they come in, so it is current and, I hope, a valuable source of the latest news. It is only the latest news if you send it to me, so you want anything added, send it to me at terry.byrne@royalcanin.com

Pete has received this e mail from Sarah Warren at Crewkerne, any one wants to do the course please contact Sarah direct

From: Sarah Warren

Hi Pete

This is Sarah from Crewkerne Running Club.  Hope you are well?

Anyway, down to the reason for the e-mail - Crewkerne RC are hoping to arrange a Sports First Aid training Course with Hamdon First Aid which will probably be on Saturday 9 November at Stoke Sub Hamdon.  The cost is £54 per person plus VAT.

Would anyone from Yeovil RRC like to join in?

Let me know either way when you can.

Probably see you at the Monty?

Regards

Sarah Warren

Last Sunday was the King Alfreds Tormant and the New Forest Marathon and Half

The results of The Torment are here

I know Phil would like to thank everyone who took part, especially Pete who does most of the worrying for him, plus everyone who helped make the event a tremendous success.

Orlando Brooke also ran in the half, coming in just under 1he 30m, and my Daughter got a PB, so chuffed and proud Dad!

Paul Allen, Mr Marathon sent this in...Marathon 137 done today at another great New Forest Marathon - well done the organizing team again. Pacing Sarah Finney to a sub 3:30 was the aim and all was nicely on course until about mile 18 when Sarah had a recurrence of a hip injury. Being nails she bravely battled through it and we finished strongly for a hard earned 3:36 - she even recovered enough to out sprint me at the end Top day out and only 98 to go for Sarah to join an exclusive club. Well done all the other Yeovil runners out there today.

Celebrating a great day out
