The Cerne Burn on Sunday and Real Buzz

Hi again, 2 posts in one day!! Two e mails in about my comeback race (Race??? I will be jogging round).
Anyone else fancy it, its for a good cause and an 'interesting' off road route

The Cerne Burn

Dear Club Secretary,

Thank you for your support so far with the Cerne Burn.

I hope you will encourage a few more Runners from your Club to sign up. The Cerne Burn is our most challenging Run and will take runners up to the Minterne Ridge and then along to Cerne Valley, passing under the Giant, before returning to Home.

This is not a Run for setting PBs, but a good old-fashion cross country course which most will enjoy.

Runners can still book via our website : Cerne Burn Web Site

Runners can also register on the day (£15 for 10k / £5 for Fun Run) from 10 am.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Paul

Dear Runners,

Less than a week to go, route (actually passes under the Giant so you might not see it whilst running) – [the Fun Run is through Minterne Gardens and will be very well signed].

The Car Park is on the left about 50 metres after the main entrance to Minterne House (opposite the Church) – parking is free and there will be marshals to help you.

You will be able to Collect your Number (we will also be taking registrations on the day, so please encourage fellow Runners to join us) from the Big Grey Tent from 10 am.

As you’ll see from the map, we have 2 Drink Stations – the one at top of Minterne Ridge will be unmanned / self-service – the one after about 5.5 K will have marshals.

There will be an event photographer on-site (UKEventPhotography) and they will make a significant donation to Autism Wessex on all photos sold.

IMPORTANT – Fun RUN will Start & Finish at the Big Grey Tent at 10.45
10K will Start at front of Minterne House at 11.00 (by Deputy Mayor of Dorchester, Cllr Andy Canning) and Finish near Big Grey Tent

If you have any questions about the Run - &/or the work of Autism Wessex, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,
Autism Wessex
