The last
Club organised race of the year is coming up, with the Santa Dash on
Sunday 15th December -
this is a cracking event, suitable for all the
family - a 4 kilometre run through Yeovil Country Park and over Wyndham
Hill for "Father Christmases" of all ages, with medal for all
finishers.
Full details are on the Club website, including a link to the
Registration form and a course preview, at
Postal entries by 30 November please - FREE SANTA SUIT FOR FIRST 100 ADULT ENTRIES - AND SANTA HAT FOR ALL CHILDREN - or while stocks last, so get in early to avoid disappointment!
We all meet at the
Race HQ at Yeovil College and walk down en masse through the centre of Town to the
start at Goldenstones - if you've not walked through Yeovil as one of 100
Santas, you haven't lived!!
Should
see you all on Tuesday
Paul Allen, Mr Marathon is at
it again, nice one Paul
Marathon number 140 completed at the very lumpy Cornish Marathon today.
Lucky with the weather again and Bodmin Moor was quite kind. Aim was just a
gentle run out but felt good so just kept going at a reasonable pace - outcome
was a 3:11 which I would take any day over that course. Well done to all
involved, it remains one of the best and hardest road marathons on the circuit.
That's it for today, more in the week
Terry
