Subject: Dalwood 3 Hills Challenge
Fancy a day out and a challenging 10 mile run next month?
I am contacting running clubs within a couple of hours of our delightful valley to introduce the Dalwood 3 Hills Challenge. It’s approximately 10 miles of multi-terrain running, starting and finishing in Dalwood. Several of our more local running clubs consider this a good warm up to the well-known Grizzly which is run nearby.
I attach some information (do you have a noticeboard, online or actual??) and an entry form. We are looking for about 200 runners this year – it would be great to see your club’s colours in the mix.
Race HQ is in the village hall with decent facilities and if you feel peckish afterwards, we are lucky to have a great local pub called the Tuckers Arms, although I recommend you book in advance if you want to eat. Please look them up on TripAdvisor.
You will be very welcome, whether a couple of you or a couple of carloads come down!
I am sending this out on behalf of the race organiser Derek Gould. I am happy to receive replies, or Derek can be contacted directly on derekgould63@hotmail.com.
Race run under the auspices of ARC, Permit No. 14/2.
Best regards

Some news for all Hashers out there from Martin
Just
a quick note to say that my Webjam web page is disappearing soon - they are
stopping free pages. It's working for the moment if you want a last read and
reminisce about hashes gone past - if you want any of the photos feel
free to copy off the site or let me know which ones you want and I can send you
a copy.
The link off the H5 page on the Club site is still working at the moment (until the end of the quarter).
I am not sure I will bother to create another webpage but will e-mail with some suggested hash dates soon - I think we'll have a few event hashes this year if we can.
