Great Western 10k -
Sunday 9th March 2014 - Runners & Help Required please
Running?
It’s less than 2 weeks
away, the weather is improving, the course is actually in a better condition
than last year so please support YTRRC, as well as helping the Rotary Club
raise money for various local charities.
The varied scenery, from
glorious views of the Dorset countryside to farmyards, woods, orchards and
fields; the dramatic climbs and downhill sections, together with the changes in
terrain, make this course a worthy challenge to runners of all abilities.
Entry forms on Entry form.
Entering before the day will save you £2! You can post your entries or give
them to Lesley or Mel Dodge on a Tuesday night club run.
Would like to Help?
A few people are required
to help set out the course on Saturday 8th March – 9am at Leweston School (or
car sharing from Yeovil).
On the day the Rotary Club
provide marshals, this enables lots of you to run; however, we are looking for
a few helpers, namely,
(1)
a couple of
people to help with the handing out of numbers and to deal with on-the-day
entries. These people can multi-task as they can run the race as well!
(2)
One person to
help Martin with the computer inputting of entries/results.
(3)
A sweeper to
run the race with the last runner and ask the marshals to pick up any
flags/signage and take back to base.
If you are able to help
please let Lesley know by email at lesley.218@hotmail.co.uk.
Please say which job you would be willing to undertake.
Many thanks
Lesley
