London is Near


London Marathon


The Club has 13 members running the Virgin Money London Marathon next Sunday, here are the runners and their numbers so you can track us live on their website by clicking here.

Manchester Marathon and Great Welsh Marathon


Well done to Simon and Matt on the Manchester Marathon, 3:22 and 3:20 so good running fellers, whens the next one?

Chris Woodman did the Welsh Marathon and Katrina Harris did the Half, well done to both of you.
 

Penselwood 10k and Hippo


Points were available at this one so loads of Green and Whites turned up. Well done to all that ran. The results can be seen here. The Club did well with

Saturday Club Run


Saturday saw the normal runners from just outside YTFC at 9:00am but also some left at 8:30 do get 18 miles in. Although the Sun was out it was slightly cold until you got going. Well done to the 18 milers and it was your turn as all males doing the selfy on your running shoes.

Yeovil Marathon


The Yeovil Marathon has arranged a promo night at Tony Price, this in from the RD Bryn:

One of our event partners, Intersport Tony Pryce Yeovil, have offered to hold our very own Yeovil Marathon Expo at their store on Wed 6th May 17:30-20:00. There will be a host of company reps available to give advice, as well as Adrian Marriott, an Ex International Athlete and Marathoner, now a leading Marathon Coach. Plus it gives you a chance to meet the Event Organisers and Race Director. As an added bonus for those that haven't entered yet, if you do so at the Expo then Tony Pryce are offering 10% off items bought that evening. More details of companies attending to follow when confirmed.

OK, you lot!!! Challenge time.
I've got a team together for a relay race on Sunday May 17th - I DARE you to get a team of six and give it a go! We'll sort out a prize if you can beat us, we'll even sort out a handicapping system, if required..
Phil MacQuaid, I bet you can get a team! What about Kimberly Anne Weston, Aimee Deeney and friends!
Let me know if you're up for it...I'll sort out the entries, YTRRC will fund it too!
