Team Ultra Hit Salisbury it's Madness

Well the day finally arrived and Mike and his Team Ultra hit the start line for the 50km wet and windy with loads of Sun.

This from Catherine   Leslie came in 5:59. Mark and both 6:15 by my garmin but chip time might be different. Unsure about the super speedy ones and the rest of team ultra. We were scoffing cake and cookies afterwards! Chris might know more.

Team Ultra, Mike, Chris, Lynn, Richard, Andy, Lesley, Catherine and Mark. Sorry if I have missed anyone.

Other YTRRC runners in the Ultra were Lewis Bacon, Darren Atyeo, Pete Jakeman, Lauren May Price, Dave "Where's my Keys" Lloyd  and Jon Crane.  Well done to Lewis as the first YTRRC runner over the line in the Ultra.

Superwoman

Sarah Finney turned up at the Fire Station at the 54321 to support Lewis and not to run but decided to run the 10k, so quickly signed up. Having no Lycra and also carrying their baby, Sarah hit the start line with boots, jeans and sunglasses and managed to come in as first lady. Well done and the baby hat will now be yours.

Well done to Mike Harvey, first Yeovil, and then some real team running from the next group of guys. Nathan Gardiner needs to make sure he enters as "Yeovil Town RRC" next time! Also good runs from the girls, some of which were arguing about who was going to be last, but were well up the field...more confidence next time please!
