Bournemouth to Argentan to Burnham to Cardiff

France??

One or two YTRRC runners went to France I think for the Argentan Half, while there are a few pictures on here I will do a separate blog. Just to say it was a fantastic weekend made possible by Phil and Pete and their hard work. A big thank you from all of us.

GO

There 39 of us that went to France with Robbie Hawkins coming in as the first YTRRC runner with a time of 1:31:09 a personal best and the first lady was Jo Henley in 2:05:33. The full results can be seen here.  We must also thank the Town of Argentan for their hospitality and party after the Race. There were 22 Half Marathon runners from the Club with the rest completing the relay.

Pete Jakeman was first Vet 60 in as well with 1:34:45, This was the 30th year for the event and the Club have been going for around 20 years.

Bournemouth Marathon

A massive well done to Lauren for getting 7th Lady over the line with a PB as well with a time of 3:19 a great achievement. Pub runs really help...

Bournemouth also saw Catherine 4:37 and Brian 4:52 complete the course so also a big well done. Sorry Brian no picture of you.

Cardiff Half

Also running the Cardiff Half was Louise Ward. Louise done really well after coming back form injury.

Burnham Half

Well done to Richard, Mark and Andy at the Burnham Half. Looks like nice weather for it.

Club Events

1. Tuesday Club Night is at YTFC 6:30pm 7th Oct 

2. Thursday Pub Run is from Virgina Ash   Henstridge at 6:30 pm 9th Oct

3. Friday is Track Night with Tim and Pete, get down there and help your speed work. You will enjoy it. 6:15pm.

4. Saturday Club Run from just outside YTFC 9:00am

5. Sunday is at Goldenstone 9:00am

6. Next Champs Races are  Sun 12th 10 ml Weymouth 10.30 am,  10k Gold Hill 11.00 am 10k Castle Cary 10.00 am three on the sme day
