Well Done Kimberley
A massive well done to Kimberley for 12 Half Marathons this year.
She posted before her last one:
"Hello lovely people! Guess what I will be doing Sunday? Half marathon number 12! Yayyy I've nearly done it!!! If you have a spare pound and would like to sponsor me (pretty please) here's the link...www.justgiving.com/Kimberly-Weston1/
Thank you xx oh and don't let me drink too much Friday otherwise Sunday's race may end up more of a disaster than Argentan! Lol"
Now completed today she has posted:
Well that's that then. 12 half marathons in 11 months and £1,500 raised for the Yeovil Macmillan unit. To say I'm happy is an understatement. I've finished on a high....did it in about 2:32 ish which is about 20 minutes quicker than Argentan lol. I'm so pleased. Couldn't have done all 12 without the support of all of you (and obvs my lovely family) so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Joining YTRRC is without a doubt the best thing I have ever done. Xxx
The Races Continue
As the Awards and hats start again some did not waste time and hit the races.

After
what seemed like the worst ever week at work, some inspirational stories on
Friday night (and some inspirational drinking...) today was the perfect finish
to the weekend. A glorious race in a glorious location with some excellent
company (what better way to spend a Sunday?)
Thanks to Nathan for convincing me to enter, Rob, Richard,Richard,Lesley,Helen,Jo and other Simon for making me feel welcome in the Green and White.
Big love must also go to the Friday night tracksters ,it really works - and next race I dont expect to see anyone hiding their "reaching for height" warmups away in the car park ;)

Medal Case
This in from Pete for those with a few medals or wanting to get some more.
The website can be found here.
The email from the company:
As a runner myself and a parent of a regional club swimmer I have developed a product for displaying, storing and logging medals. As we are all aware the medals can soon mount up and in my daughters case they were piled into a shoe box!
With the ‘My Medals Case’ presentation folder competitors can proudly display up to 36 medals and their ribbons as well as log the details as a reminder of the date, venue and competition where the awards were earned.
I am hoping you would be able to assist us by networking this product to your club members in some way either via your website, noticeboard (see flyer attached) or by simple ‘word of mouth’. Please also pass on that we have a website www.mymedalscase.co.uk and Facebook page (FB search: My Medals Case Ltd).
Anyone joining our Facebook page and clicking ‘like’ will be automatically entered into a prize draw on the 1st of December to receive one of two free My Medals Case display folders. (Normal RRP £18.99).
This is a very small venture and any help at club level would be greatly appreciated, plus they are easy to wrap for xmas!
Good luck to you and your club and we wish you every success with future training and competitions!!
Kind Regards,
Cross Country
