Cross Country

Well done to all that helped set up, marshall and also run in the Cross Country hosted by YTRRC. As Pete was with me running the Thames Marathon, Pete being Pete was still worried that all was going to be Ok without him there. Well by the feedback it sounds like it was a great success, only because you all pulled together to show YTRRC at its best. Well done all

Phoenix Riverside Marathon

Pete Jakeman, Paul Allen and I went to Surrey to run a Marathon along the Thames. The day started with a bit of rain and got worse and worse as the morning went on. The course was wet and muddy to start with and then got worse till you were running through brown water up to your ankles. Not even a pasty in sight but still a very well run event and a time of 3hr 48min by all three of us.

Club  Events

1. Tuesday Club Night is at YTFC 6:30pm 25th Nov  Winter Route 2

2. Thursday Pub Run is from The Quicksilver Yeovil at 6:30 pm 27th Nov

3. Friday is the Club Awards Night at YTFC.

4. Saturday Club Run from just outside YTFC 9:00am

5. Sunday is at Sherborne Station  9:00am 30th Nov
