Sunday run Groups

The normal Sunday run was at Goldenstones with a few newcomers and the normal after . run Picnic Phil got in there first and last. Don't forget the 30th Nov is at Sherborne Station.

""DROGO 10 "" Why am I the only one laughing , maybe the mud stones big puddles and even bigger hills + the 1.5 mile hill finish was ahead of us well done all not for the faint hearted this one. RD

The Final 10 Miler

Pete Jakeman took some chicks in his car for the last chance to get the hats. How he got all 6 in I will never know. 

The Wimborne 10 is the last chance locally for hats so if you ran make sure you inform Lesley. It might even be to late.

The Price of a Pasty

As you maybe aware I do like my pasties, so to get one I drove to Cornwall (£15 petrol), booked the hotel (£29) had some food and drink (£20) entered the Cornish Marathon (£20), ran 26.2 miles on a very hilly course and got a free PASTIE. :)

Well done to Chris Woodman on a PB at the Marathon with 4:53. Paul Allen was 3:18 and I came in at 3:30. Nice and Sunny all day.

Marathon no 4 completed, the Cornish marathon as I found out on the way round is regard by many as the second hardest road marathon in the country, well I'm very happy, never came with a target, paced it just right and ended up with a pb 4.53 

Club  Events

1. Tuesday Club Night is at YTFC 6:30pm 18th Nov  Winter Route 1

2. Thursday Pub Run is from The George at Sherborne at 6:30 pm 20th Nov

3. Friday is Track Night with Tim and Pete, get down there and help your speed work. You will enjoy it. 6:15pm.

4. Saturday Club Run from just outside YTFC 9:00am

5. Sunday is at Goldenstone 9:00am
