Back to Cakes and a United Club

Chard Flyer 10k

Thursday saw the first Race in the Somerset Series and also the first race in 2015. It was a good turn out for YTRRC with 23 runners. Well done to all that ran in the rain again but not as bad as last year. 

First YTRRC over the line was Bryn Phillips in 38:22 followed by Lewis Bacon, the first lady over the line for the Club was Lesley Nesbitt in 51:44. For the full results click here.

Then it was Tea and Cakes in the Car Park.

   

Sunday at Montacute

Today saw the Club run at Montacute with a good turnout and the weather was good but could have been a bit hotter. Not many Races on today so not to much to report on.

Bit muddy to sit on the Grass.

Thanks to all that made Cakes and the New Years resolutions have gone already. Sean's Chocolate Cake was gone before the photograph was taken.

 I believe there was a Football Match today at YTFC against some small Club from Manchester, sadly they lost 2 - 0 but played well and can held their heads high. 0-0 at Halftime and could have taken the lead as well. 

Club Tenpin Bowling 

This in from the Club Social Rep aka Katie Brooks:

Good afternoon all. Club Social night coming up. Ten pin bowling in Yeovil Friday 30th January 8pm and an optional few bevvies in town after for anyone wishing to make an extended night of it. The cost for 2 games of bowling is £4 each, partners welcome. If you would like to go please pass me the money in a sealed envelope with your name on by Tuesday 27th (i shall be around on the tuesday night club runs also the pub runs) so I can confirm lanes needed with the venue. If you know of anyone who is not on Facebook please pass on. Hope to see you all there xx

Entering Races

When entering Races please make sure that you enter the Club as Yeovil Town RRC. You only have to look at the Race Results to see the different ways in is taken down. Sometimes it is the person who enters the data at the race and not the Clubrunner but please try to ensure that you put the Club down as above. Thanks
