A Muddy day so Have a Bath

Bath Half

The bath Half had a few YTRRC runners in it today and some managed PB's as well. The full results are not out till Monday. But Mark managed 1:33:27 and bagged a PB, well done mate. Fez also got a PB, not sure on his time.

Nice one Lads :)

Steph pushing out the miles.

13.1 miles with no swearing. Nice one

This in from the Golden Girl herself:

So today I got a PB for my worst half marathon time ever. Well done me. My poorly foot kicked in at mile 5 and I almost had to pull out. Glad I didn't because Bath are actually giving decent t shirts now. I also took 14 packs of soreen. Bonus. Here's a picture of me dying at the end. And thanks to Lauren May Price for the cheers. Great help.

Club Quiz Night

The Club Quiz night was a great success and thanks to you all for a great turn out as well. Not sure how many teams there were altogether but excellent night. The Quiz master did a great job and the BBC have already rang to take over on Mastermind. She was speechless when she received the Thank You card and Flowers, a first....

Well done Katie .

Not sure that this team took it serious,

From the Quiz Master:

YTRRC QUIZ NIGHT 28/02/2015. Fantastic turnout with some very clever people wink emoticon well done all, not to many pics from last night as there was a smart phone ban wink emoticon. 1st team place was 'ask us an easy one' 2nd place 'crazy legs cranes' and 3rd 'les quizerables'. Wooden spoon prize to 'the famous 5' and best team name (closen by an 3rd party) to 'ask us an easy one'.
Thinking one before Christmas is needed smile emoticon

New Forest Marathon

Paul Allen and I went down to the New Forest for the Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA). They do the 26.2 mile distance so Marathon runners enter and an run instead of walk. The distance is always over as you never take the direct line and paths. We managed to knock up 29 miles.

However they as always great run events and very cheap, there is a very long time limit great aid stations (Rice Pudding and Fruit, cake, Jelly Babies). We also had a hot meal at the end with tea and coffee, all free. Well worth doing and great for training.P
