5 4 3 2 1 YTRRC are Go.....
54321 has nothing to do with racing, or getting a good time it is all about a Hat that they will get on the 27th Nov at the Clubs award Night (names to Phil). With an Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k there is distance for all runners. Race HQ is the Fire Station in Salisbury with the Ultra the first race off at 9:30 followed by the Marathon at 10:00 followed by the Half.

The late comers |
It was a hot day out there as the Ultra team set off at 9:30, the gun could not be heard as a certain YTRRC runner was making to much noise (guess who).
We had runners in the Ultra, Marathon and Half Marathon and a lot of money is raised for the Fire Service charity. Soon runners hit the finish line and received their medals.
Jo is already browsing the internet to find another Ultra.
Well done to all those completing their first Ultra on a tough route just for a Hat.
With the results now in it is a well done to Katrina Harris on first female for the club in the Half and in the Marathon it was me (not counting Paul Allen who came 10th well done) and Nikki Guiver was the first female for YTRRC. That just leaves the Ultra with Helen Nesbitt first YTRRC runner over the line so well done you and Nathan Gardiner a close second to Helen but first male for the Club. Results can be found here.

Maiden Newton Madness
Saturday Evening saw a Championship Race at the Maiden Newton Madness 10k. Well done to Leyton Green first YTRRC male and Jo Henley first female. Good turn out by the Club and well done to all the runners, the results can be seen here.
Hazelbury Trail 10k
Wednesday saw the Hazelbury Trail 10k race and it was also a Club Championship Race so loads of Green and Whites were there. Richard Bateson was the first YTRRC runner over the line and it was great to see Sarah Trim back in form and first Green and White lady over the finish line. The full results can be seen here.
However the result of the day was Graham Watts Yeovil Town RRC who came first in the 5k race with a large field of one runner he did well and managed to just get his left foot over the line before his right one.
