Yeovil Marathon
Well the second Yeovil Marathon was a great success, with 214 runners (we had a lot of no shows) and the weather was perfect for running, well the first 4 hours were then we had a bit of rain.
With Paul Card taking first place for the Club and Lesley Nesbitt was our first Lady. The full results can be seen here.
Both the Men and Women teams came first as well so great running by the Club.
Well done to all the first timers at the Marathon distance, Trev, Zoe and Phillipa (sorry if I have missed anyone).

Endure 24
Luke Hicks and I were at Endure 24 this weekend. We were in a team of 5 aiming for 6 laps each. I was injured and my tape kept falling off so after a double lap on the Saturday in heavily humid conditions I was thinking of dropping out but after a few hours sleep and some cake, with tape intact I did a midnight headtorch run which was really nice so did 5 by Sunday morning. One of our team stopped after 4, another after 6 but Luke and our final member put in some speed work and completed 7 laps! Plus Newbury Parkrun Saturday morning that was a west country marathon for me and an ultra for Luke. Catherine
