Have had this in from Deb Neal..
Amazing from Deb and Mike
Survived the 32 mile RAT on Saturday - somewhere between an ordeal and a challenge - never seen so many steps in my life - so slippy in places I fell 4 times. Really humid - drank 4.5 litres of water and a cup of tea (of course) en route. Took far longer than I ever expected - last time I did that distance it took me 6 hours 11 minutes - this time took 8 hours 33 minutes. Event was so well organised, definitely worth going mob handed next year to enjoy the beer and music after. There are some shorter options of 11 and 20 miles but you need to be at least marathon fit to do the 20 miler, much fitter than I was to do the 32 miler (well done to Mike Harvey who finshed in 6 hours 9 minutes) and probably superhuman to do the proposed 64 miler which starts by head torch.
Well done both of you, and I thought a marathon was hard!!
Latest News from the Dorset Doddle, - Paul Allen finished 7th in 6:30, with Nick Brooke not far behind in 6:30
