Please do not be late or you will be left behind. Remember your passports and bring them with you. We have been invited to a lunchtime reception by our hosts in Argentan. Dress code for the weekend is sports gear or very casual with scottish themed for the Saturday night dinner dance????
Any queries talk to either Me, Pete J or Debs N.
Thursdays Pub Run is the Bull Ilchester. Car parking in the public car park. The run will be shorter than normal and slower as some are off to foreign parts a few hours later. Ideal run for 1st time pub runners. So if you have never done a "pub run" now is your time to give it a go

A great day had by all, weather conditions were chilly on the start line but did warm up as the legs got pumping. Great to have three YTRRC vests all together on the start line. (Picture to come I believe) Glad I could drag Mike around at a quick pace to the half way point as a new PB was set, well done mate! Well done to Kat who managed to take 3mins 20secs off from last year! Another great time set by Paul due to an accident at work only a few weeks ago. Congratulations to Nat for another impressive time. Of course well done to Kevin for coming out on top again, with a time 4 seconds shy of 90 minutes. Great running by all! :-)
I did see and speak to another Yeovil runner at the finishline, can't remember his name or bib number but he was just seconds behind me. If anyone has any ideas who he was please let me know!
As for me, (and a lot of others) bring on Argentan! Are the ferries 'running' yet!? I need to find 2mins 47secs from somewhere. Maybe French timings will be different to Bristol timings............
60 to 1000, 60k in a Day, Sunday 11th November 9:00am (7:00am for Ultra Runners)
Are you looking to run a Half Marathon? A Marathon? A faster 10k, A first 10k? Are you, as Tim would say, Going to the Dark Side and taking part in a Triathlon or Duathlon? Do you just want to have an enjoyable, gentle 10k? Do you want to see if you can do 20k with no pressure? Do you enjoy biking? Do you want to have an enjoyable, fun, social morning with other club members of all levels and abilities?
If the answer is yes to any of the above then 60k in a Day is for you! Combining with the Sunday Social Run, We have come up with a 10k loop from the Football Club. Each loop comes back to the Football Club, you can go round the small roundabout and back out for another loop or stop, relax, have a cup of tea and a cake and cheer on the others! You can run, bike, walk or crawl, its up to you, you do 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k or the maximum, 60k in a day!
10k Loops running or biking or both. Do 10k or 60k or in between. Have fun, get fit, training for that winter run, have a laugh with smiles through the miles. Yeovil Town FC, 9.00am November 11th.
I will be doing a 10k run, 40k bike and another 10k run, well that's the plan. Some will be doing an ultra, starting at 7:00am and aiming for a 50 or 60k run, many will be doing 10k, some a 10k run and 10k bike, the combination is up to you. Do a relay, 4 off you doing 10k each!
It will not be officially timed, but I hope to have the big clock running so you can test your times on a tempo run if you want, the clock will start at 9:00am
The most important part, is to break up early winter with some fun, a laugh and some good social training..
Enjoy 60k in a day with Yeovil Town RRC and raise awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. For Alfie and Arthur.
More details will follow, including the course! (I am sure we can find a few little Yeovil 'slopes'!)
