First things first........... Phil and Pete, the Yeovil Towns RRC Super Pair, ably supported by Mr Nick Brooke, After Dinner Speaker extraordinaire! Thank You!
Superbly organised, brilliantly executed, good food, super presentation and THAT after dinner speech, those who were not there, eat your hearts out, you missed a special night.
If you did not hear the Chairman's speech, it will be out on a YTRRC Dodgy Enterprises DVD, a limited edition of 250 copies, available to the highest bidders with a reserve price of £1,000!! If you can't afford it, you will have to be there next year, you can hear the next one in 2013 for about £15, don't miss, its worth reserving your seat now!
There was glitz, glamour, sophistication, there were laughs, there was great company, stories of the season, awards to put the Oscars to shame, there was dancing to put Strictly in the shade, James, what can I say? Extraordinary!
The sophisticated Hat does it Sally! And what have you seen Cris? |
Kimberley said 'Brilliant night last night. Thank u so much for my award I'm so pleased. I am so glad I joined YTRRC u r the most friendly and supportive bunch of people I have ever met! Xxx'
Aimee said 'Thank you for a fab night last night, so well organised. We had a great time. Thank you so much for my award, I didn't think this time last year that I would ever have been able to achieve any of this. There are no words to sum up how proud I am to be a member of this club. I know I couldn't have achieved anything without you all. What an amazing team! :-)'
From Anita 'Great evening at the Club Awards Presentation last night. Thanks to all the organisers for all their time and effort ... you all do a fab job. Lovely to see everyone in their finery instead of the lycra and fluorescent outfits'

And so the dancing commenced, the drinking continued, and what happened next at Yeovil Town's Huish Park stays at Yeovil Town's Huish Park...
The girls looked great, the boys did not scrub up to bad, and we all knew, if there was ever any doubt, we all run for one tremendous running club, and we are all winners just by being members...
Yeovil Town Road Running Club, probably the BEST Running Club in the World...
Be there next year, you really can't afford to miss it
More in the next few days, have a great Sunday, especially if doing the Full Monty.
