Here comes that time again

Greetings one and all, Christmas is coming, so is ‘Round the Lakes’ 10km in Poole Park on Boxing Day, the Moors Valley 10km supporting Autism Wessex on 29^th and The Chard Flyer, a club championship race on New Year’s Day. 

And don't forget the fun that is the Club's Santa Dash,its next week, be there and enjoy...

Club Calendar

Yesterday, after 8 months, I made my road race come back with an appearance at my local race, the Christchurch Christmas Pudding 10km. I was joined by World Champion Jill Harrison, Angel Felix to the FB world, over a new course. 

Jill returned an amazing 40.42, I think she was 1^st Vet in her category. I was VERY happy with 46.38 despite a lung busting last couple of miles and I managed one more race in front of my daughter (The day is coming). This is a quality race with 519 finishing and the winner returning in 31 minutes.

My knee seems ok-ish this morning, so good times!!

Pete, Guy, Fiona, Paul Meadows and Mr Marathon, Paul, were in Malaga over the weekend for the Malaga Marathon. The Malaga Matadors all returned good times in warm conditions, the liquid nutritional build up from a couple of days before helped!!! But had passed through. Well done all, and to Paul on Marathon 141!

Congratulations to the 15 YTRRC runners who took part in this morning's Yeovil Montacute Parkrun. It was another impressive set of results with 10 of you setting new PB's. Richard Boulter now has the men's age category record for VM55-59. Well done to all! Thank you
