Humdinger Half & Hurtle

The famous 9.5 mile Humdinger has had it's day and today was the first new Humdinger Half Marathon. YTRRC runners turned up in force to take part.

 Of course it would not be the same with out the Cakes and food after the event as they chatted over the slight hills on the route.

Well done to Nathan Gardiner first YTRRC male and Rose Appleby first female. All the results can be seen here.

Quiz Night

Only 3 weeks to the quiz Saturday 28th February 7pm for 7.30 start at The Great Lyde in Yeovil smile emoticon already have teams from the following members Richard Blackmore Fiona Gaffney Linda Membury Lindsay Saunders Joanna Henley Frances Swatridge Bryn Phillips and possible Tors Bush (hopefully not missed anyone) Great team names being chucked at me wink emoticon prizes sorted, questions and answers under lock and key and sausage & chips ordered. So get your teams together and to me asap. If you would like to take part but don't have enough let me know and I can put in touch with anyone who need to make a team up. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Well it's that time of year .... would anyone in the club (must be a fully paid up first claim club member) be interested in entering this and getting a significant discount? If we have more than 20 entries (we had over 50 last year!) then the cost will be about £22.10p each grin emoticon

Still looking for volunteers for some Pub runs so please come forward and ask Phil for details. Also helpers  are needed for The Great Western in helping setting up and also sweepers for both the Fun run and the Great Western. Please see Lesley if you can help.

Sunday Run

Well done to all the Sunday runners who travelled all the way to Dorset for the Hills, scenery and of course the healthy meal after. The Run leaders picked some lovely routes with distances of 18,16 and 10 ish.  It was very hard work but I managed the Sunday Roast as well.

1. Tuesday Club Night is at YTFC 6:30pm 10th Feb  Winter Route 5

2. Thursday Pub Run is from Chicago Rock Yeovil  6:30 pm on the 12th Feb

3. Saturday Club Run from just outside YTFC 9:00am 14th Feb

4. Sunday is at Goldedstones 9:00am 15th Feb
