Let the Battle Begin

The Battle of Sedgemoor 

Today saw the Battle of Sedgemoor 10k also a Championship Race so points up for grabs.

The race saw Kevin Stenner as first male over the line for the Green and Whites and Sarah Trimm was the first Yeovil lady. The Full Results can be seen here.

There were 25 YTRRC Runners so well done all.

Of course these races cannot happen without these kind people.

Well done everyone at today's BoS race at Langport - good turn out and good results from YTRRC. Nick Brooke as MV60; me FV55; and we won the Ladies Team prize - Sarah, Lauren, Helen, me and Joanna Henley. We need to ensure Full on Sport get our Club name right tho as it makes a difference to the results as we are recorded as 2 separate clubs - 'Yeovil Town RRC' and 'Yeovil Town Road Running Club'. I'm sure there were some PBs out there too - Helen 10 mins quicker than last year's BoS and a 10k PB overall.

  

Forest Flyer

The Forest Flyer was on Saturday and a few Green and Whites popped down to race.

 Well done to Richard Dodge as first male for the Club and Both the Katie's crossed the line together.  The full results can be seen here.

Jet Setting Jo

The Club Sec has been off on her travels again for the Parkrun at Penrose National Park on Saturday.

Well done Jo who said it was hard but lovely.

1. Tuesday Club Night is at YTFC 6:30pm 1st Sept.

2. Thursday Pub Run is from The Fox and Hounds Charlton Adam  6:30 pm on the 3rd Sept

3.  Fri Track Night 6:15pm and Saturday Club Run from just outside YTFC 9:00am 5th Sept

4.  Sunday Long Runs are from Montacute are cancelled due to the Ash Races.
